Your event. Your team. Our people inside it.

Delivering an international skills competition is one of the most complex projects an organisation can take on. Skills-Set Ltd works from the inside — embedded in your team, or coaching it — so the whole event, or any part of it, is coordinated by people who have genuinely done it before.

A delivery team working together on a major project

Seamlessly embedded — indistinguishable from your own people, except for what they've done before.

Two ways to work with us

Embedded delivery

One of your team — with our experience.

A Skills-Set specialist embeds seamlessly into your team to help coordinate the whole event, or a defined part of it. They work as, and are treated as, one of your own people — inside the hosting organisation, the venue organisation, or the international competition organisation itself. The difference is what they carry with them: first-hand experience of delivering these events at the highest level, and the calm that comes from having done it before.

Coached delivery

Your team delivers. We make sure they succeed.

Where you have the people but not yet the experience, we coach your delivery team through the programme — physically at your workplace, through a structured series of online meetings, or a combination of both. We transfer the good practice, warn of the pitfalls before you reach them, and keep the team motivated and confident when the pressure builds.

Physically embedded

At your offices, your venue, your competition site — for months or for the critical weeks.

Online coaching

A structured series of working sessions with your delivery team, wherever they are.

A blend of both

On-site for the moments that matter; online for the rhythm in between.

What embedded experience brings

Event coordination

Hands-on coordination of the whole event, or the specific workstreams you choose — operations, logistics, venue, personnel or governance — from inside your structure.

Real-world good practice

Not theory from a textbook. Ways of working proven across multiple international competitions — the templates, rhythms and checklists that experienced hosts actually use.

Pitfall warnings, early

We have seen where event delivery goes wrong, and we say so plainly. Knowing the trap three months before you reach it is often the entire value of the engagement.

Governance & stakeholder bridging

Acting as the bridge between host, venue, organising body, sponsors and government — so every party meets its objectives and nothing falls between the chairs.

Team motivation & resilience

Every delivery team hits a wall at some point. We have been there, and we know how to get a tired team through the hard middle months and across the finish line.

Capability transfer

The goal is that you never need us twice. Everything we use — processes, documents, judgement — is left behind with your people when we go.

Plans and documents being reviewed during event preparation

The templates, rhythms and checklists that experienced hosts actually use — left with your team.

How an engagement runs

01

Scope

Define what you need: embedded specialists, coached delivery, or a blend of both.

02

Integrate

We join your structure — your meetings, your systems, your reporting lines.

03

Deliver

Coordination, coaching and problem-solving through the full event programme.

04

Support

Extra presence when pressure peaks — the build, competition week, the dismantle.

05

Hand over

A full capability transfer, so your team owns everything we brought.

“We say so plainly when something will go wrong — three months before it does.”

“Every delivery team hits a wall. We know how to get them through it.”

“The goal is that you never need us twice.”

A full international competition venue during an event

When the doors open, your team runs the event — with everything we brought already theirs.

Bring us inside the team.

Whether you need one specialist for one workstream or a coaching programme for your whole delivery team, the conversation starts the same way — a short, confidential call about your event.
